99% of the time the complaint of not setting is not a valid complaint. When tested these typically pass our test. The cements have to be sealed off from oxygen in order to set, so they must be under a crown in the mouth or if outside the mouth, stacked a bit thick so the inner part is sealed off from oxygen. I see most customers trying to test by thinning the cement out on a mixing pad. Thin cement out of the mouth will never cure properly because it won’t be sealed off from oxygen.
